A Business Capital in the Center of Israel

It was no mere coincidence that “Airport City” was built at the exact meeting point of the northern metropolitan area of Haifa, the eastern metropolitan area of Jerusalem and the central Dan metropolitan area, around Tel Aviv. When we planned “Airport City” we envisioned a new business capital, located only 10 minutes of driving from Tel Aviv and less than one hour of driving from Jerusalem or Haifa.

“Airport City” is presenting a new concept in the Israeli business arena, offering an alternative to the crowded Tel Aviv area: a lively suburban business center, with exceptionally low building density, in a location opposite to rush hour traffic jams and with an elaborate transportation network around it.

“Airport City”’s advantage in terms of accessibility is based on the proximity and easy access to the following main roads and highways:

The Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway (Highway 1) – the park is located less than 1 km from the Petach-Tikva/Ramla-Lod interchange, on the fast highway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Ben Gurion Airport – the park is located to the east of, and adjacent to, the main international airport of Israel, with a convenient access to the new Terminal 3.
Hoze Israel Highway (Highway 6) – the park is located close to the intersection of highway 1 and the Hoze Israel highway (at the Ben Shemen interchange).
Road 444 – is a two lane road running parallel to highway 6.
Roads 40 and 46 – the park is adjacent to roads 40 and 46, central north-south roads linking Ramla, Lod, Rehovot, Petah-Tikva, Hod Hasharon and Kfar Saba.
Road 453 – this access road to the park, from the El-Al junction, has been expanded to a two-lane road (two lanes in each direction), with complete lighting and street lighting of the road and the intersection.

Public Transportation

The ideal location of “Airport City”, in the center of the country, only minutes from Tel Aviv, close to Hoze Israel highway and next to Ben Gurion Airport, guarantees optimal accessibility to and from every destination in Israel or abroad. Check in from their offices is elementary for the business people of “Airport City”, as is landing directly in the company meeting room, or the close by hotel room, for incoming guests from around the world. 

Israel Railways

Today, the NATBAG 2000 railway station, at Terminal 3, sees trains to and from the Dan metropolitan area every half an hour.
At the next stage, a new railway station will be located at the El-Al junction, very close to the park, with train traffic connecting to and from the suburban towns of Kfar Saba, Ra’anana, Rosh Ha’ayin, Rishon LeZion, Rehovot and more.
Egged is operating a shuttle service every 15 minutes from the El-Al junction to and from NATBAG 2000 railway station at the airport. An internal shuttle service inside the park itself is also planned.
 

Public Bus Transportation

Lline 947 – connecting Jerusalem – El-Al junction – Haifa
Line 249 – connecting Petah Tikva – El-Al junction – Lod – Rehovot
Line 313 – connecting Ashdod – Yavne, Ness Ziona, Rishon LeZion – El-Al junction

Line 500 – connecting Tel Aviv central railway terminal, via Hakirya – Moshav Truemann junction
Line 58 - connecting Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer – Yehud, Kiryat Ono, Bar Ilan – Moshav Truemann junction.

Egged Dedicated, Regular Transport Services
Dedicated regular transport lines by Egged will connect to and from Tel Aviv Massof 2000 transportation terminal, the central Tel Aviv railway terminal, Bat Yam, Bilu junction, Herzliya, Jerusalem and Haifa.
In-coming lines will arrive at “Airport City” at 07:30
Out going lines will depart “Airport City” at 15:10.

Northern Entrance to “Airport City”

The main entrance to the park is located to the south, near the Moshav Truemann junction. However, for the benefit of all those arriving from the north to the El-Al junction, the now secondary northern entrance will to be expanded. The Israel National Roads Company (“Ma’az”) is planning to turn road 40 into an internal road for the use of Israel Aerospace Industries, while expanding road 46 into a 4 lane road, making it the main road from the future El-Al interchange in the south to Hatayasim interchange in the north.

A northern entrance to “Airport City” is planned by the Israel National Roads Company to be part of an interchange on the expanded road 46.

“Airport City”, in a rather exceptional move (aspiring also to expedite the road development by the Israel National Roads Company), has issued permits to expand the road and pave the northern access road by itself, with the intention of providing the quickest and most convenient solution for its clients in the park.
